I've been off for far, far too long.
Combination of camera issues and other projects has kept me from working on the show too hard (though I have a few things on the back burners), so instead I'll share my latest project. It's a hack that's come quite far (though probably needs some editing, perhaps quite a lot) and is going to get playtested quite soon.
It's a Cortex+ hack for My Little Ponies: Friendship is Magic.
So, take a look, run it if you can and tell me what you think.

Be back soon (hopefully).

At long last, TNSG: Paranoia

Paranoia is property of Mongoose Publishing... and for once, no dates, because there are so many editions. Go check it out.

Why am I forgetting to add stuff to credits so much lately?
Especially that, it's kind of a big one.
Stupid.

One of these days I'll actually update things on time.
Speaking of which, still working on the DRYH supplement I mentioned... it's getting much longer than I originally planned.

Update

Trying to get in the habit of actually putting stuff up on the blog.
Even though I know no one's reading this.
At any rate, I think I have my camera problem more or less sorted out, but it is delaying things a bit (as is some real life stuff), but I'm aiming to have my next review up by the weekend, and to have another video come up not too long after that (I have a few ideas on what to do next, so I really need to decide which to do).

And, because I want to be doing more than just the videos, I will hopefully have something for DRYH (yeah, I know, but I love the game) up sometime next week at the latest. It's basically going to be a home supplement in the same style as Don't Lose Your Mind (I fully confess to aping it), but with some advice from personal experience, as well as lots of fun Madness Talents to poke through.
So, yeah, there's that to look forward to.
You know, since the one person who I think might actually be reading this blog has no interest in DRYH.

Ugh...

I am very frustrated at the moment, as my camera appears to be damaged. It still films, but I can't see what it's filming... and I have no way of emptying the memory.
I have the script for the next episode written, but it may be delayed because of this.
The truly frustrating thing is that it appears to be a very minor problem (the camera is functioning fine except the screen, which as far as I can tell is working but not receiving any data from the camera) but there doesn't seem to be much hope getting it fixed.

Metafiction

I suppose I should point out I have not actually had a chance to play or run Metafiction, making this the first game I've reviewed without actually sitting at the table first. This is due mainly to a scheduling mistake, and me being away from my gamers all Summer.
With a game this basic and straightforward, I don't think the review would have been any different, especially since a lot of its mechanics and themes are similar to games I have played.
Still, I figured I should put this as a disclaimer for complete discretion.

Well, next week I finally get around to what I was supposed to be doing 5 months ago... let's hope it doesn't delay me again.

And, as though the failure of June wasn't enough, I almost forgot to post this here:

Trying to get onto a regular schedule.
We'll see if it lasts.

June!

Happy June everyone!

Ugh... once again real life has thrown my plans in a ringer. Was planning on a Paranoia (XP and Troubleshooters, for those in the know) review being up some time ago... clearly didn't happen. I've got some special plans for June, that go beyond the New School of Gaming, so I'll get those up shortly, and the Paranoia review will happen... as soon as I am in a position to coerce friends into helping. I can't stab my own back after all.

Well, not without help.
